2011 Global Leadership Summit kicked off on Thursday. As always great Summit! It continues to be my favorite conference of the year. The fact that we have 19 with Christ Lutheran attending, makes it even more special.
Of the many great quotes for the day, my favorite and this week’s Soul Food for Friday comes from May Cory Booker who said, “You are the result of a grand conspiracy of love.”
There’s some great theology in those words. How great is God’s love for us. Satan came to steal, kill and destroy. Jesus the Son of God comes and takes on humanity. In his death is the greatest expression of love.
I also loved Bill Hybels question about the core of the gospel message, and this challenging exercise. What 5 words would you use to describe the gospel message at your church? So what are your 5?
